Netflix just announced the return of The Karate Kid Part III 'bad boy' Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan) to the fifth season of Cobra Kai, which premieres September 9 on Netflix.
'So excited to finally announce that Mike Barnes will be a part of season 5!' 55-year-old Sean gushed on on Tuesday.
'[Creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg] wrote me an awesome story. Can't wait for you all to see it!'

It's unclear if the skilled and vicious karate fighter will remain loyal to his Cobra Kai roots or if he'll unexpectedly join sides with the Eagle Fang/Miyagi-Do Karate dojo.
Barnes was mentioned in the Cobra Kai episode 'All Valley' due to his unsportsmanlike behavior previously getting the dojo banned from participating in the All-Valley Karate Tournament.
